About Our Founder
From her face masks made of everyday refrigerator contents to the sensational cinnamon rolls she crafted out of mundane loaves of bread, Cherrye Coleman began developing a career in culinary arts by age five. After conceptualizing cuisine in hipster hotspots, enormous airlines, country clubs, privately catered parties and nationally recognized restaurant chains, Cherrye wanted MORE out of her culinary career. She wanted to make her mark on the industry while giving diners an unforgettable experience.
During the COVID-19 quarantine, she began to conceptualize flavors, develop recipes and send out samples. As the lockdown lifted, her hometown, Detroit, began to catch wind of a new taste emerging on the scene of the newly-minted “food mecca.” Debuting in popular bars and restaurants throughout Mid-town, pop-up shops and private parties, Cherrye grew More Sorbet into a local staple for the Motor City. Today, Cherrye rotates gourmet flavors with every passing season, offering a piece of her passion in every scoop.
